News from our principal:

Hello, WBA family!  I hope this message finds you happy and healthy as you are nearing the end of your summer.  WBA staff is excited about the upcoming start to the 2020-2021 school year!  

Please note a few things:

*School starts for all students on Wednesday, August 12.  ALL students will be participating remotely (from home) from August 12 through September 3.  

*In-person learning (students physically come to the school building) will begin on September 8.

*Class/Teacher assignments will be communicated as soon as possible, but I don't have a date YET.  

*If you have not provided a current POR yet, please send it in an email to Brown_POR@misdmail.org.  Be sure to include your student's name and grade level.  

*If you have not completed the Returning Student Registration yet (only for students who attended MISD last year), please do so.  https://www.mansfieldisd.org/departments/student-services/enrollment-registration

*With all students needing to participate remotely at the start of school, some families may need assistance with access to a technology device.  MISD is working to assist families with this need for the window of remote learning.  If you are in need of a device for your student, please send me an email.  I must submit your request to MISD Technology Department.  kynaeastlick@misdmail.org  For students who have applied for the Virtual Learning Academy, you do not need to send a request for device to me as you have already indicated your need when completing your VLA application.
