MISD will begin registration of new PreK and Kindergarten students on April 4, 2022.  If your child will be entering Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year, you can ignite their love of learning by registering them for school!

You may complete the registration online or schedule an in-person appointment at your child's campus, starting Monday, April 4, 2022.

You may be wondering what you will need to bring.  For faster registration, you are asked to bring original copies of the following: 

• Student's certified birth certificate
• Student's shot records
• Student's social security card
• Proof of residency, in the form of current (within the last 30 days) electric, gas, water bill, or lease agreement
• Parent/guardian's driver license or photo ID

Please note: PreK students must meet eligibility requirements and be four (4) years old by September 1.

A Meet & Greet event for new PrekK and Kinder families will take place on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at your child's home campus .  In addition, an immunization clinic will be offered on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Performing Arts Center (located at 1110 W.
