During the school year, elementary school students are selected to receive the School Board Superstar Award for outstanding citizenship.  These young students have been chosen from their campus based on their outstanding character, citizenship, fairness, honesty, kindness, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness.  Miss Laila Hooks was chosen to receive Willie Brown's School Board Superstar Award.  Laila is a 4th grader at Willie Brown who is known for being respectful and choosing to look at life in a positive way.  She is new to out school and has fit in since the very first day of school.  Laila's fun sense of humor brings a smile to her teacher's face every day.  Congratulations Laila for being Willie Brown's Superstar Award winner.
